Integer Operations Flash Cards
I created this set of printable integer operations flash cards using a nifty flashcard making website I discovered last year. The site itself is sort of plain looking, but it makes great looking flash cards.
Start by typing in your questions and answers. You can also import them, but I’ve never tried this. Once you’ve typed everything in, click PDF.
You get plenty of options to customize your printed flash cards.
If you print them one-sided, they print with the question to the left of the answer. Just fold them in half. If you duplex them, they print with the answer on the back and the question on the front. Students just have to cut them out and study.
I used this site to make some integer operations flash cards that will be used in the upcoming school year as part of my action research project for my master’s degree in curriculum and instruction with an emphasis in math studies.
I’m researching the effectiveness of physical and visual models in the remediation of students in the specific area of integer operations.
So, I thought I should share these integer flashcards here on my blog for anyone who might find them to be of use in their own classroom.
If you’re wondering why the questions and answers don’t match up, these are formatted to be printed double-sided. The coordinating answer/question will print on the back of the card.
These flash cards feature 50 questions that cover adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing integers. These 50 questions match the questions on the integer operations pre-test I used in my action research project.
Hope someone else is also able to make use of these!

Have you tried print these flashcards on index cards? I was thinking of printing to 3×5 's or 4×6 's and using them for scavenger hunts.
I'm not sure if the site is set up to do that. If it is, that would be awesome!
