What are Samurai Diagonal Sudoku Puzzles?
In a traditional 9×9 Sudoku Puzzle, the challenge is to complete the 9×9 grid so that each row, each column, and each outlined 3×3 square region contains exactly one of each number between 1 and 9. Numbers cannot be repeated in any row, column, or outlined square.
In a samurai sudoku puzzle, there are five different 9×9 traditional sudoku puzzles that overlap to form the samurai sudoku grid. This is known as a type of multi-sudoku puzzle because it combines several sudoku puzzles into one with adjacent areas overlapping.
These are samurai diagonal sudoku puzzles, so they have an added restriction from diagonal sudoku puzzles that the numbers 1-9 are used one time each along each diagonal line.
I would recommend learning how to solve the standard 9×9 sudoku puzzle and the 9×9 diagonal sudoku puzzle before attempting these printable samurai diagonal sudoku puzzles.

Puzzle Solutions
Puzzle solutions are available on a password-protected solution page. I do not openly post the puzzle answer keys because one of my goals as a resource creator is to craft learning experiences for students that are non-google-able. I want teachers to be able to use these puzzles in their classrooms without the solutions being found easily on the Internet.
