These free printable True False cards can be used for formative assessment as well as various review games in the classroom.

Prep Instructions
Print the true false cards one-sided on card stock or regular colored paper. (Two sets will print per sheet of paper.)

Laminate each sheet of cards. Cut the laminated true false cards apart along the given lines.

How I Use These in my Classroom
The simplest way to use these true/false cards is to give each student/pair/group of students a set of cards. Pose a true/false question. Ask students to hold up their answers.

I used to do this sort of thing with individual dry erase boards, but I ran into the issue of groups waiting to write their answers until they had seen what other groups wrote or sneakily trying to change their answers.
I much prefer using the cards in conjunction with my mini magnetic pockets. I have each table submit their true/false answer by placing the corresponding card in the magnetic pocket face down. (These are the same pockets I use my multiple choice letter cards with.)
Once I can see that all groups have submitted their answers, I then flip over the answer cards to reveal the answers to the class one at a time.

These True/False cards can be used with a variety of different review games including the ZAP review game – one of my students’ faves!
