Complex Numbers Foldable

I created this complex numbers foldable for my Algebra 2 students to glue in their interactive notebooks.

I pre-printed a + bi at the top of the notes so that we could label the two parts of a complex number: the real part (a) and the imaginary part (bi).

Below this, there are dotted lines which students must cut on in order to form the four flaps for our foldable.

Unlike my normal foldables, students will glue down the entire half-sheet of paper in their interactive notebooks except for these four flaps.

We labeled the outside of these four flaps with i, i^2, i^3, and i^4 along with their values.

Inside each of the flaps, students worked out these various powers of i by hand.
