Cut and Paste Dimensional Analysis Activity

This cut and paste dimensional analysis activity makes the perfect introduction to dimensional analysis. I used this with my chemistry students with great success. It is available on Teachers Pay Teachers from Teacher Friendly Chemistry.

Students have a bank of conversion factors to choose from. They cut out the ones they need for each problem and paste them on their worksheet. There are many extra conversion factors that will not be used. I love this because it really makes students think about which conversion factor they need.

I also appreciate that the activity starts simple with converting shapes and ramps up to converting actual units. I highly recommend this activity.
