Finding Maximums and Minimums Practice Book

I created this Finding Relative Maximums and Minimums with Your Graphing Calculator Practice Book for my Algebra 2 students to complete and glue in our interactive notebooks.

We did this practice book after filling in a set of notes on how to find the max and min of a graph using the TI-84 graphing calculator.

I structured this practice book the same way as our finding x-intercepts and y-intercepts with your graphing calculator practice book. In fact, we ended up gluing them on the same page in our interactive notebooks!

There were six different equations inside the practice book for students to find the relative maximums and minimums of.

I required students to create a sketch of the graph in addition to just finding the maximum(s) and/or minimum(s).
