Make Six Puzzle – Number Challenge

The Make Six Number Challenge asks you to insert mathematical symbols (no digits) to make each equation equal six. Some of these are easy to solve. Others will really test you!

5-4-3-2-1 Challenge

5-4-3-2-1 Challenge

Use the digits 5, 4, 3, 2, and 1. The digits must remain in that order. Place the four arithmetic signs – plus, minus, times, and divided by – between the digits and as many parentheses as you like around the digits. How many numbers from 1 to 40 can you get?

20×9 Challenge

20x9 challenge

In the 20 x 9 Challenge from Pierre Berloquin, you are asked to create various expressions that equal 20 using the given digits no more than six times. Good luck with this fun math challenge!
