Parts of an Integral
Over the years, I have created many different math posters for my own students. I decided I needed to upgrade my calculus poster game when I found that my AP Calculus bulletin board was spending most of the school year empty.
I decided to make a parts of a definite integral and a parts of an indefinite integral poster to help emphasize proper calculus vocabulary.
Parts of a Definite Integral
This parts of a definite integral poster focuses on these vocabulary words: integral sign, upper limit of integration, lower limit of integration, integrand, and variable of integration. It also reinforces the Fundamental Theorem of Calculus.
Parts of an Indefinite Integral
This parts of an indefinite integral poster focuses on these vocabulary words: integral sign, integrand, variable of integration, antiderivative, and constant of integration.
Printing and Prepping the Posters
I printed my posters on 11 x 17 cardstock and laminated them with matte laminating sheets before hanging them on my bulletin board.
If you don’t have the ability to print on 11 x 17 paper, I have also added letter-sized versions.

These AP Calculus posters are available in two sizes. You can print them on either 8.5 x 11 inch letter-sized paper or 11 x 17 cardstock.
