Here is the interactive notebook page I created for my Algebra 2 students over solving quadratics by factoring. I typed up the Zero-Product Property for students to cut out and glue in their notebooks.  

In the future, I’d probably type up the steps as well to save time.  I might make them fill in the blank or something similar…

I used these same two equations in my notes for solving quadratics by graphing to make the connection between the two methods.

    I've never heard of the "Zero-Product Property", but I guess it's just as sensible as "Null Factor Law"

  2. Here in the Philippines we use the same term. But do you have action research sample Ms. Sarah?

    1. I don't. I'm hoping to perform my own research project on INBs, though. I will hopefully post about it once I start the process. 🙂

  5. Your picture is not showing here and I would LOVE to see what you had originally displayed. I decided late (after school started) to implement the INB. I figure any help I can give my current students to best understand is better than waiting until next semester for the new group of students. (We are on the 4X4 block.) Any suggestions for a late starter would be appreciated! I LOVE YOUR WORK!!!
