This chart is an extension of the Prime Numbers Chart 1-100 that I created for my students and shared back in 2021. Sometimes, we would find that we had a number just above 100 that we needed to know if it was prime or composite when simplifying radicals.

I finally got around to extending our prime number list to go all the way to 1000.

If you are looking for other printable charts, I have a wide variety of free printable math charts for teachers to download and use with their students.

Uses for Prime Number Charts

  • Determining if a number is prime or composite
  • Identifying Radicals which do not Simplify
  • Finding the Prime Factorization of a Natural Number
  • Finding Common Denominators – If One of the Denominators is Prime, you will need to multiply the two denominators to find a common denominator.

Create Your Own Prime Number Chart

Do you want to have students create their own prime number chart? I offer several free printable number charts which could easily be color-coded to create prime and composite number charts.
